Faith Beyond What You Can See

When God Confirms What You Feel

Have you ever listened to a sermon that spoke exactly to your situation?

Or confirmed exactly what the Holy Spirit has already been speaking to you?

I recently heard a pastor say:

“You can’t be a Christian without believing in miracles.”

And that is absolute truth.

The Foundation of Our Faith

The foundation of Christianity is based on the ultimate miracle:

Christ died for us so that we could live.
And on the third day, He rose from the dead.

If we believe that…

How can we not believe in miracles?

A Call to Bigger Faith

The Holy Spirit is calling His people to have faith for bigger things.

To pray dangerously.
To pray persistently.

But too many people have become complacent in their faith.

And honestly…

It breaks my heart and irritates my soul at the same time when I see Christians:

  • talk
  • act
  •  and live

as if God is not beyond comprehension.

As if God only does what makes sense.

As if the small coincidences in life are as good as it gets.

How bizarre.

Are we reading the same Bible?

Who God Really Is

The God I believe in has many names:

King of Kings.
Lord of Lords.

Just to name TWO out of the many

He is life itself—the Creator of it.

He has:

  • raised people from the dead
  • split open the earth
  • created the entire universe                                                                                                 

And that’s not even close to everything He has done.

He has all authority.

Breaking Out of Complacency

We need to get out of this version of “comfortable” Christianity.

Because it is not even close to the real thing.

I know the Lord desires for His children to believe in Him wholeheartedly and without limit

But too many have reduced life to:

  • bills
  • houses
  • material things
  • getting to the next place

It’s Time to Pray Dangerously

It’s time to pray dangerously.

It’s time to fully step into belief—without any ounce of doubt.

And yes, I know how hard that can be.

But we have to stop being Christians who need to see in order to believe.

What If You Just Trusted Him?

What if you simply said:

“Okay God, if You said it, then so be it.”

God created the world with free will because He wanted His children to choose Him.

So why use that free will to only ask and believe for things you could accomplish on your own?

Beyond What You Can Imagine

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
— Ephesians 3:20

God is not limited to what makes sense to us.

He moves beyond what we can think, plan, or imagine.

A Reminder From Ezekiel

I think of the book of Ezekiel, where you repeatedly read:

“And they will know that I am the Lord.”

How powerful is that?

The Season Is Now

We are in a season where people will know that He is God.

And I challenge you:

  • Believe without limits
  • Believe without seeing
  • Believe beyond your understanding

Believe without needing to watch it happen in real time.

Final Challenge

Accept that God can do beyond what you imagine…

Because He is beyond what you could ever imagine.

Have a faith that is bigger than yourself—
a faith that requires the help of the Holy Spirit.
